Cases We Have Been Involved In

As a leading law firm in criminal law, we have been involved in a number of terrorism-related cases over the years. The most high profile cases that we have been involved in were:

During Operation Calctic, we represented the sister of one of the main defendants in a high-profile case. The best outcome for this was for our client to enter a guilty plea, and have her sentence reduced dramatically down to 30 months. This outcome, while it may not look like a win, was certainly one when you consider all of the facts of the case. We ensured that our client was treated with respect at all times, and it was likely they would have been facing far longer without our help.

Another of our most prominent cases was R v H, a lot of the details of which are confidential. However, our client was under investigation for obtaining a material that could have been used to commit terrorist acts. This case became about far more than just this though, and consisted of a range of issues from human rights to national security. It was our job to ensure that our client got the best defence possible, and we delivered.
