Sophie has worked in criminal defence since 1996, qualifying as a solicitor in 1998.  She has worked in Merseyside, London and Thames Valley.

She appears in the Magistrates courts in Thames Valley and West London on a daily basis, representing clients on the whole spectrum of criminal offences.  She covers all types of hearings including bail applications, bad character and sentences.

She also uses her considerable Magistrates court experience to vociferously defend her clients at Magistrates  court trials.

She achieved duty solicitor status in 2001.  She has been Police Station Accredited since 1997 and frequently attends police station interviews to strongly defends the rights of her clients.

She meticulously prepares cases for Crown Court trials, liaising closely with counsel and is thorough in her analysis of the prosecution evidence.

Her focus is on Client’s receiving the highest standard of client care and ensuring they are fully updated on the progress of their case.
