Roheed is a qualified solicitor working in our Magistrates and Crown Court team.
Having obtained the Police Station Accreditation qualification, Roheed went on to complete his training contract at the firm. He attends Police Stations and Magistrates’ Courts on a regular basis representing clients on a wide range of allegations.
He has considerable experience in making pre-charge representations, persuading the police in dropping cases early on. His strength is in his meticulous drafting, attention to detail and negotiation skills.
His experience includes dealing with prosecution agencies such as the Local Authorities, TFL, Department of Work and Pensions and HMRC. He has also built a reputation at the police stations in the region due to his regular attendance.
Roheed has represented clients facing an array of offences, including regulatory matters, fraud, conspiracy cases such as drugs, serious violence and serious sexual offences. He litigates cases in the Crown Court and has worked with experienced counsel to formulate defence strategy.
He also prosecutes on behalf of the RSPCA on a regular basis dealing with an array of animal welfare-based offences such as illegal breeding, animal cruelty and abduction/theft of high value dog breeds.
