Martin was called to the Bar in 1989 and has specialized in criminal defence since 1991. In 1998 Martin became a Solicitor Advocate focusing on Crown Court advocacy, building extensive experience of litigation and advocacy which has spanned over 27 years.

Martin’s Crown Court advocacy extends nationwide. He is regularly instructed on cases serious cases and those which have complex legal issues such as robbery, aggravated burglary, GBH & ABH, large-scale drug importations and possession with intent to supply class A or B drugs, possession of firearms, offensive weapons and murder.

Martin also regularly represents clients at the Magistrates’ Court and Police Station on a private basis.
