One of the first Encro (Op Venetic) cases charged, commencing in 2020. Post service of Defence Statement and inadequate secondary disclosure, the defence made continued disclosure requests. This resulted in a PII application, after which the Prosecution offered no evidence against the defendant. 3 years after charge and offences contested from the outset, not guilty verdicts were formally recorded.
